Rector
Reverend Ana Lawrence
PC 17 PORTRAITAna is Rector of SWCD Churches a role which includes overseeing the three parishes of Street, Walton, Compton Dundon as well as Area Dean. Ana is originally from Watford and before ordination was for many years an instrumental teacher in Primary and Secondary Schools. She has lived in Buckinghamshire, Oxford, Cambridge and Shropshire before moving to Somerset in 2020. She is married to Kevin, and they have two grown-up children, Sarah (married to John) and Ben. When Ana is not working, she enjoys playing the violin, works out in the gym, walks in the countryside, bakes and loves to meet up with friends and family.

Rachel is curate at SWCD Churches, she is Somerset born and bred and has lived in rural villages locally all her life. She is married to Jon and they have four children together. In her spare time she enjoys walking around the countryside with her two dogs, eating out and classic literature with a particular passion for Tudor history novels. She also enjoys history and looking deeply into local history and how it shaped our lives and traditions, barn dances, fetes and cake! She also loves travelling to Cornwall as a family and going camping.

Assistant Minister
Reverend David Hatrey

david hatreyDavid has PTO within SWCD Churches. David is Plymouth born, but with a real love for Cornwall.  Whilst a serving Headteacher in Cornwall he was ordained in Truro Cathedral in 1993 as a non-stipdendary minister.  He moved to Somerset in 2000 to take up the position of Headteacher of a  Primary School.   David is now retired but continues his ministerial role within the parish. He is married to Pauline and they have three grown-up children and two grandsons.  David enjoys spending his time relaxing with family and friends, refereeing basketball, painting chess sets, cooking curry, travelling and walking.   He currently inspects church schools as a SIAMS inspector across the south-west and beyond.
